Chapter 300: Intruders!
Chapter 300: Intruders!
Damian froze with Loth’s sweaty body still on top of him, bouncing up and down while her perky breasts jiggled seductively with every movement. Despite the warmth and excitement he had been enjoying only moments ago, his attention was completely stolen by what he felt.
"They found us here?" Damian mumbled in surprise.
There were several things he had never foreseen, and one of them was the enemy tracking him all the way to his California home.
If they could chase him all the way back here, it meant they were at least aware of his battle against the Kasok assassins. They knew about his Demigod capabilities. They knew about his wives. Yet they still chose to attack.
That meant whoever was coming possessed considerable confidence in their chances of winning.
It was a disturbing realization. Regardless, even in this situation, Damian remained calm.
His gaze drifted toward the massive glass wall nearby, where he could already see layers of crimson barriers slowly forming around the entire estate. Like enormous nets woven from red light, they spread across the horizon and gradually enclosed the mansion from every direction.
They were sealing the perimeter with the false world skill with the aim of preventing escape. That was a good as saying these people were certain they would win.
Cocky!
His attention shifted toward Loth, who had noticed the disturbance as well. A deep frown immediately appeared on her face. She had finally gotten the chance to taste Damian, and now someone had the audacity to interrupt the moment.
Damian gently stroked her face and took one last look at her naked body.
"Let’s take a short break and welcome our visitors, okay?" he asked.
Despite the obvious reluctance in her eyes, she eventually nodded. She stepped away and took several paces back before lowering herself into a respectful bow.
"As you wish."
Damian nodded with a satisfied smile. As long as she remained a good girl, he did not mind rewarding her from time to time.
Snap!
[Demonic Weaponry Activated!]
Buzz!
Violet flames instantly engulfed Damian’s figure.
As the fire subsided, it revealed Damian dressed in flowing black and purple Hanfu robes. A black and white handfan decorated with fox patterns rested in his hand, while a transparent mask covered his face.
The mask appeared to melt into his skin.
At the same time, his hair continued growing longer and longer until it dragged against the floor behind him.
Damian slowly rose to his feet.
Before he could move, familiar voices echoed through his mind.
’Shall we?’ Hazel asked.
’There is no reason to get involved yourself,’ Ruby said.
’You always insist on doing the heavy lifting yourself,’ Racheal added.
Their voices bombarded Damian’s mind from all directions.
He casually ignored them.
"Stay in bed. I’ll handle this."
His voice remained low and calm.
Despite being nowhere near the room, all three heard him clearly and immediately stopped pressing the issue.
Buzz!
Damian vanished in a blur.
The next moment, he stood atop the roof of his mansion.
His robes snapped violently in the wind while his long hair whipped behind him like a dark banner.
Just moments ago, he was certain the night had been calm.
Now powerful gusts surged across the estate from every direction.
Yet that was the least of his concerns.
Damian could sense immense concentrations of demonic force gathering both above and below.
"Large-scale spells..." Rin muttered as he appeared atop Damian’s shoulder with a deep frown. "They are really coming this time."
Damian already knew that.
He had witnessed members of the Order of Moses preparing divine spells often enough to recognize the sensation.
Someone was preparing powerful spells.
"The real question is who?" Damian asked while scanning the horizon. "Could it be the Kasoks trying to rescue their princess? Or independent hunters hoping to claim my life for a greatly undervalued price?"
"Or both," Rin replied.
Damian frowned instantly.
Buzz!
"Think about it. Whoever is coming intends to fight four Demigods, and one of those Demigods happens to be the Sin of Lust. At this point, just expect the worst and hope it doesn’t get worse than that."
"More or less," Damian replied with an indifferent shrug.
Rin’s deduction was difficult to argue against.
If these people truly knew his strength and knew his wives were present, then they must have brought at least four Demigod-level individuals of their own.
This battle was bound to be difficult.
Probably the hardest fight of his life, yet there was no fear in his eyes. If anything, he felt calmer than he had when facing Duke Haborym.
"I’m guessing Astaroth didn’t do anything about our assassination problem," Damian said while glancing around the estate.
Roughly thirty armed guards were stationed throughout the property.
Every single one of them was a Lesser Demon. Against ordinary humans, these guards would have been unstoppable. But against Demigods, they were little more than decorations.
Damian could already sense their panic and confusion.
The only reason they were not fleeing was because protecting him remained their duty.
"If you had spoken to him respectfully, we probably wouldn’t be having this problem," Rin said while rolling his eyes.
Damian merely shrugged before tapping his forehead.
’Get inside. All of you.’
The order echoed directly into the minds of every guard on the estate.
All thirty immediately looked toward the roof.
Their eyes widened when they saw their master fully equipped for battle.
Surprisingly, excitement flashed across their faces.
They understood exactly what that meant.
Without hesitation, they began sprinting toward the nearest cottages and reinforced structures throughout the property.
"There is no point crying over spilled milk," Damian said calmly.
His feet slowly left the rooftop. The wind intensified as his robes fluttered violently. The crimson barriers continued closing around the estate.
Above him, the heavens trembled with gathering power and below him, demonic forces continued converging from every direction.
Damian slowly rose higher into the air and narrowed his eyes toward the darkness beyond the barriers.
"Let’s get this over with."
